Smartphones can be useful, but small text, complicated menus, passwords, and frequent updates may be difficult for some older adults. Care robots often provide a simpler experience because users can speak naturally and listen to spoken guidance.
Good technology adapts to the user. It should not force the user to adapt to a complicated system.
Supporting Human Care, Not Replacing It
